File Transfer

Items to Note:

• Vista uses standard IND$FILE transfer, which is not very efficient for medium to large files, but very effective for smaller items.

• In addition to the regular Text and Binary transfer options, Vista has functions to run Listcat and Listds TSO commands to gather file name and member name information on the PC screen.

• This window also supports the transfer of multiple files, such as the upload/download of multiple members of a partitioned dataset (as shown in the SYS1.PARMLIB download above).
